Digi Jr. was born at a very young age, and subsequently grew older from that day on. Studying magic at a young age, he decided that he would go out into the world and make a name for himself.

Promptly joining the circus as an entertainer, he was disillusioned with the glitter of show biz. The episode with owners “pet” Olthio and visiting the lifestone 3 times in one show, decided Digi’s mind for him. He left the circus and began wandering the wilds of Dereth. It was during this time that he ran into a good friend of his, The Drunken Man at Baishi. Many a bleary eyed hour was spent building up a tolerance for alcohol, ah the memories! (or lack of memories) Sobering up was easy for Digi, lucky a granite golem beat the alcohol right out of him and sent him back to the lifestone. The same could not be said for the drunken man, as he still sits at his tower and takes free drink from visitors.

Digi vowed that he would fight back against the evil world of Dereth, and summoning up his courage, he tracked down that granite golem! The golem died, eventually… Not after smiting Digi back to the lifestone multiple times, but the golem did die, and so began the story of Digi the slayer. The list of Digi’s successes as a young mage is depressingly short. Fortunately he was a very persistent mage and learning from his many mistakes (sorry Naomasa, I REALLY didn’t know that fire wand was loaded) he grew into the Fool mage he is today.
